Custom pergolas without the custom price
Motorized aluminum louvers that tilt for shade and close watertight for rain. Built to your patio's dimensions, not to a box size on a shelf.

Build it
Nothing here is a package you have to take whole. Set the size, pick the mounting, add only the parts you want. The drawing redraws as you go.
Mounting
Most patios aren't a clean rectangle in the middle of a lawn. They're wrapped by walls, split by a step, or tucked into a corner. Each of these is a standard build, not a special order.
Systems and add-ons
Every frame ships pre-wired and pre-channeled. If you only want the roof this year, the walls and lighting drop in later without pulling anything apart.

The same system in different configurations: open to the sky, closed against rain, enclosed in glass, lit from inside the beams.
Fin & Frame has been fabricating aluminum louvered pergolas since 2021. Not decks, not fences, not sunrooms. One thing, built to the dimensions of the space it is going into, for homeowners and businesses alike.
That focus is the whole reason we can quote a patio that wraps a corner or a restaurant courtyard without treating it as a special order. It is also why we do not charge a premium for it. A custom size means a different cut list, not a different process.
Every structure is powder-coated aluminum, engineered for Gulf Coast wind and rain, and installed by the same people who measured it.
Why bother
Most patios get used a dozen days a year.
The rest of the time it is too hot, too bright, or raining sideways. A slab with no roof is a slab you walk past on the way to the car. A roof you can open is the difference between square footage you own and square footage you actually live in.
Your quote
Four things account for nearly all the variation between one quote and the next. Knowing them lets you steer the build instead of guessing at it.
Most motorized louvered projects start around $20,000 installed. Solid roofs and shutter panels come in well under that. We'd rather tell you now than after a site visit. Every quote is built from your real measurements — this is a floor, not a formula.
Roof area is the base of every quote. Trimming two feet of projection does more for the total than dropping an add-on.
A solid insulated roof costs considerably less than a motorized louvered one. If you want a permanently dry room rather than adjustable shade, solid is the better fit.
Glass is the single most expensive component per foot. Shutter panels give you the same open-and-close control for roughly half.
Existing gutters, downspouts and window heights all sit where the ledger wants to go. We price that work in rather than surprising you with it.

Rough numbers are fine. Width and projection to the nearest foot is enough for a real range. Photos help more than measurements.
